POLICIES & TERMS

What MVP's own rules cover, and what stays with the outside organizations that set it. Rules from a provider or rights organization are always identified as theirs.

This page is the index. Each area below lists what it covers and MVP's stated position. The full text of a policy is kept in the Info & Help Centre, and any question about a specific policy can be raised through Help & Support.

Terms of Use

  • Using MVP as a visitor, fan or professional
  • Your account, your profile and the context you act in
  • What MVP provides and what it does not
  • Changes to the service and to these terms

MVP's position: MVP is a discovery and professional networking platform. It does not sell tickets of its own and takes no part in an agreement between you and a venue, promoter or ticket provider.

Privacy

  • What MVP collects, why, and how long it is kept
  • Your choices and your rights over your data
  • Location being optional
  • Data export and deletion requests

MVP's position: Location is optional, and browsing MVP never implies attendance at anything. Personal data is used to run the service you asked for — not sold or resold.

Community Guidelines

  • Expected conduct between fans, artists, venues and promoters
  • Reporting and moderation
  • What is removed and what follows removal

MVP's position: MVP is a professional space. Conduct that targets or harasses a person, or that misrepresents a show, a venue or an artist, is reviewed and can be removed.

Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • Artist, band, venue and media responsibilities
  • Setlists and user-contributed content
  • Reporting content you hold the rights to

MVP's position: Provider content — ticket listings, catalogue data, artwork and audio previews — is linked from its provider and never rehosted, downloaded or stored as a file by MVP.

Tickets & Refunds

  • Where a ticket link leads
  • MVP tickets versus third-party provider tickets
  • Who answers a refund or exchange question

MVP's position: A ticket sold by a third-party provider is governed by that provider's terms. Refund and exchange questions are routed to whichever organization issued the ticket.

Artist & Venue Responsibilities

  • Keeping a claimed profile accurate
  • Publishing shows that are actually happening
  • Who may act for a venue or an artist

MVP's position: A claimed profile belongs to the verified person or team behind it. Records are corrected rather than duplicated, and a team's access is granted by the profile's owner.

Technology & Provider Notices

  • Third-party integrations in use
  • Rights organizations (e.g. SOCAN) and their own rules
  • Payment and payout providers

MVP's position: Where an outside organization sets a rule, MVP names the source and links to it. MVP does not rewrite another organization's requirements as its own policy.
